Associate Pastor Don Hilton
Don currently serves as an Associate Pastor at Meade County General Baptist Church. He has served this church since 2004 in multiple roles such as the Young Adult Sunday school teacher, the Adult Sunday school teacher, Praise and Worship and an Ordained Deacon. He started this incredible walk with the Lord at a young age when a teenager led him to the Lord by telling him about the wonderful grace and mercy of Jesus Christ; that’s why he has a special place in his heart for the youth; he personally knows what they’re capable of doing for the Lord, which has an eternal impact.
Don is married to his high school sweetheart Rita and they have been married for 32 years. They have two incredible adult sons, Daniel, David and his lovely bride Michelle, who all reside in Florida. Don and Rita have three wonderful grandkids Hailey, Cadence and Jaxon.

Guiding Scripture: John 21: 15-18 15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” 16 He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” 17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. 18 Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”
